Thanks Nick! I've been waiting to see the finished product. Do you know if that is zoysia grass around the bunker faces? There appears to be some difference in grass in the pictures.

Tony, what changes are you referring?  I played there about 2 years ago and I was unaware of any construction plans.

Tony, it is zoysia around the bunkers.  It held up best with the heat, traffic, and sand splashes

  Last spring/summer they started a complete overhaul of the golf course. They added length, moved several greens sites (#6), reseeded the greens and refurbishing the bunkers, along with adding some. Nick is more able to give you the specific details becasue of his "inside knowledge." Much of this was done with the upcoming Ryder Cup in mind, but I'm sure the golf course was ready for a face life, having opening in 1986.

Another big change was to flood the area on the 7th hole.  The water you see in the first photos used to be a all rock and would fill with water in major rainfalls.  They dammed up and cleaned up and filled it with water to what it is now.   They also moved the 11th green back and left 40 yards.  The 6th green that Tony mentioned was moved back 80 yards.  All greens were recontoured and regrassed with A1/A4 bent

Not yet.  Faldo and Azinger will be here in a few weeks.  Im sure Azinger will start discussing course setup in detail then.  He already has some ideas for setup but not discussed length
