Sonning in Redding...
«

A friend dof mine just emailed me to let me know he was going to play the Sonning course in Redding, just west of London.
I was wondering what info anyone might have about the course...

That's Reading.
I played Sonning once, many years ago. Don't remember it being anything special. In fact, don't remember much about it at all.

In June I will be riding the first three stages of this year's Tour de France route for charity. 630km (394 miles) in three days, with 7800m (25,600 feet) of climbing for the William Wates Memorial Trust (

) which supports underprivileged young people.

Comments on Sonning from "1000 Best Courses in Britain & Ireland"
"Flat, but long hard course...Fairly flat and dull...Pretty straighforward and open...By no means to top echelon in Berkshire, but lovely feel to this club"
No exactly inspiring!
