I just returned from Scotland and would like to thank GCA for helping make the trip such an unforgetable experience.  The knowledge and advice I received on here as I planned my trip was invaluable.  I played TOC (four times without even waiting in the singles line!), Dornoch, Cruden Bay, Brora and Golspie.  

In particular I'd like to thank Sean Walsh, who showed me around St. Andrews and was great company both on and off the course, and David Tepper, whose hospitality in Dornoch was much appreciated.

This website is truly amazing--thanks to all!

(I'd like to post some pictures on here, notably of TOC, but can't figure out how to do it--could someone shoot me an IM with instructions?  Thanks)

Right click on the picture you wish to display and choose Properties.
Copy the address/URL including the extension .jpg.
Paste the adress on this board between the tags [ img ] [ /img ] - but with the spaces before an after img and /img removed.

...and I certainly agree that Sean and David are great guys. Good that you got to meet them.
