So heres the deal...

I'm calling first thing Saturday morning to get the tee times, as they can only be reserved two weeks in advance.

The times will be around 2:30 or 2:45 and there will be 10 spots open (two are already taken, Sean and I).

If we get some foreigners (anyone outside of WA  ;D) there is a possiblility of some Ryder Cup format, with six singles matches with WA gca'ers playing against the world....if there is enough interest it can become, possibly, a Northwest GCA tradition...but for now we can begin a sign up for those interested.

Everyone welcome, this should be fun!!

p.s.  If more than 10 are interested ill make it four times...

Well if you would have answered your phone last night! (I know it was late, but Hillbilly Hendren kept me on the phone. I had to explain to him that at UofW the dorms have bathrooms, not outhouses.)

Call me later, I want to golf today. (later this afternoon.)

Jordan,

You say you beat Sean Leary the only time you played him?

You mean "net"? I think I still have the card somewhere. What should I give you where there is an "X" on the card?

Regards and thanks for organizing this.

Jordan,

I am now able to make it to the Home Course and hopefully you still have room. I look forward to it and appreciate your efforts in putting this together.

According to The Home Course's website, Oregon Golf Association and Pacific Northwest Golf Association members get the member rate. Just bring "GHIN handicap card" to prove.

Now if only I can get a Pierce County membership card, I would be all set!  ;D

Which leaves one spot open!.

If interested, let me know.

On a side note I probably wont make it to the course until about 2:30ish because I have an ACT test to take at 7:45 in Everett that morning...I'll be there, for sure, just not sure when exactly.

Consider I-405 around the Eastside, Jordan, if you'd be traveling through around the time of the Husky game---you could wind up sitting...and sitting....and sitting... trying to get through downtown Seattle.

Jordan,

With all the mulligans you take, your second ball can fill out the foursome.

Is that the side game on Saturday, the over/under on the number of mulligans Jordan takes?

No, it's a pool to see what handicap he shows up with on that particular day, as we all know it could be anywhere from 0 to 6, depending on the day...

We possibly have another player to come, from Canada, in which case we have four from WA and four from outside..

Ryan,

I'm a 1.4 now, although the last time I played was 15 days ago...

List (again)

So far we have:

- Jordan Wall
- Sean Reehoorn
- Bill Cosgrove (maybe)
- Sean Leary (!)
- Pete Pittock
- Garland Bayley
- Bob Jenkins

Any interest in dinner or something after the round?  Will people have time?

EDIT

If people could post their handicaps that would be good.

I'm a 1.4, dont know if that makes me a 2 or 1 at the course..

Jordan,

Mark Skorah cannot make it due to a family commitment. He is very interested if something like this comes up again.

I would love to have dinner but it would have to be a quick one as I will have a fair drive back.

My index is 8.7. If you are a 1.4 I assume Sean is a +4 and I can make some gas money for the trip back.

Thanks for organizing this.

Talk soon.

9.5 and bringing a old/new putter for its maiden voyage-(Beem) STZ with the KJ Choi fat handle. I can stay for supper.

Jordan,
If you have a spare Seattle CC logo ball, I'm missing one in my collection.

Jordan should have to give me more than half a stroke.
