The Berkshire - 16/11/09?
« on: October 23, 2009, 09:38:10 AM »

I have organised a small day out (2-3 x 4 balls) at The Berkshire for Monday 16th November 2009. We have the Red course in the morning and then the Blue in the afternoon - with a snack lunch in between.

This is just £115 for the day and I wondered if any GCA members would like to join us? Please let me know if you would, details are;

Coffee on arrival - Bacon rolls available for £3/Full English breakfast for £6

18 holes on the Red

Snack lunch (no jacket and tie required)

18 holes on the Blue

Get in before it's dark!

Anyone who can get there for that day will not regret it if they have not played the courses before.  That is a good deal!

A bad day at golf beats a good day in the office

Gareth

It sounds a great day and I'd love to join you as I've never played either of the Berkshire courses but heard a lot of good things about them.

Unfortunately I'm completely out of holidays for 2009 so will have to wait until another time Sad

Gareth,

Afraid I'm also out of holiday for the year. Too much golf already, but will hopefully make it to the Berkshire one day.

It would be good to hear about your day or perhaps see some photos if you have the chance?

Cheers,

James

Thanks for that Tony. We just wanted to get one more round in somewhere good before Christmas so organised a small day out at The Berkshire.

Will only be two three balls for the day, but we have 5 in so far - anyone wanting to join the group and make the final three ball is more than welcome of course  Smiley
