We're raising ALL our Tee-Boxes

There's so many white outlines been painted on the ground, Balbirnie Park currently looks more like a crime scene than a golf course.
Every, EVERY, tee has quaint comments spray-painted on it. Things like 'Raise 600mm. Re-turf' or 'Raise 900mm. Re-shape' in chunky bold capital letters have appeared all over the place. Talk about letting everyone know what will be happening over the winter!

At first, I was afraid, I was petrified..NO! At first, I thought kee-ryist, not more pointless earth-moving, but fairly quickly I came to the conclusion that most, if not all, of these 'Elevatory Enhancements' could only be a GOOD thing for the course. Way too much blindness will be fixed, to an extent safety will be improved, heckers, play might even speed up!

Could this BIG pointless gesture actually be BPGC's epiphanic moment!?!?! Only time (and a big fat hairless tub-thumper) will tell!

What seemingly simple change/s would astonishingly improve your regular golf squeeze?

Martin:

Is Rees Jones working on that project?  He loves to raise tees.  I just hope you don't have three or four of them in line on every hole, because you'll get sick of looking at the raised pads from the back tees where you play.

I clearly wasn't nearly ironic enough, was I!
The 'tinkering' that is going on at my Home Course is SERIOUSLY, ahem, 'annoying' one!

This is genuine Nero fiddling while Rome burns stuff. I GAVE them some design ideas FREE, still they ignored me, I offered to do the work FREE, STILL they ignored me. They are WASTING a perfectly good golf course and I feel/am powerless to stop them.

Ach, it's only a golf course after all. Why worry....... :'(

What kind of work did you propose?

When you said you would do it, did you mean that you personally would be out there with a chain saw and a stump grinder?
