I played Hamburger G C for the first time a few days ago, here are some photos of my visit.
I've played quite a few "Colt"courses including De Pan,Eindhoven & Swinley Forest.
The Hamburger is not a overly long course, but makes good use of the Hilly Terrain and plays some what longer.
Hole 1 293m.A gentle opener.
After a good long iron or 3 wood your left with a pitch to a steeply sloping green
Hole 2 502m.A fade off the Tee sets the hole up perfect.
The elevated green leaves a tricky pitch for your third.
Hole 3 213m.
Hole 4 432m.A short Par 5,to short a good drive down the left leaves not much more then a mid iron.
Hole 5 365m.
Looking back down the fairway
Hole 6 375m.The bunker down the right is 248m of the tee.Anything much shorter leaves the following view.
Hole 7 324m.Keep it down the left for a better view of the flag.
Hole 8 162m.What I would call a typical Colt Par 3,similar to several holes at the Royal Haag, The Kennemer and Royal Zoute.
Hole 9 385m.Keep the drive down the left side
Second shot
Where not to hit it.
The Second nine in a few days.
