Is that a little bear sitting on the pedestal on the right?

Is the idea to so distract your eye with so many visual stimuli that you forget your target?

That little bear would make a good target.

Another day and I am still perplexed by this golf hole . Roll Eyes

The only thing I can find out is that the course is in Quebec , Canada .

Can any of the Canadian board members shed some light on this course ?

I presume because the green itself is so bland , the surroundings were part of the designers plan , not something that was added later ?

This appears to be the obvious results of either too much or too little drinking......

Definately took me a few minutes to decipher this picture.  What turned out to be the green, I thought was a tee, as I thought we were looking back...

And why on earth wouldn't they use the whole grassed area as green?  Or use the right-hand mounds as a kicker towards the green?

Are we sure that it is a bear - it kind of looks like a woodchuck?

There are a couple more pictures here:

In light of this picture, are we sure Desmond Muirhead is no longer with us??

I have to admit it, its one of the most unique looking holes I've seen in a really long time.

No Chris...it's most definitely a bear.   Holding a salmon that it's feasting on.

It's sort of like golf's version of "Waiting for Godot".

I think this is the most likely suspect responsible.

"Don't thin it" would be my swing thought in this bunker.

And here...ouch!

Did this guy spend any time in confinement?
