I cannot fathom, in those circumstances, why Phil would become the less popular choice as a lefty this week. Is this a reflection of how unpopular Phil has become among those on this site?

It's more of reflection of how he's played the last two majors.

For me, it's a reflection on his injured wrist.

Both have health issues. It seems to me Mike generally finishes higher than Phil, when Phil is not on his game and not vying for the title.

Here goes

1) Who will win the PGA Championship?     Tiger Woods

2) Bonus Questions:

New format, worth one point each. Pick the winner out of the following pairs:

Argentine: Andres Romero v. Angel Cabrera                Andres
Unhappy Runners-Up: Sergio Garcia v. Rory Sabbatini   Rory

Low O: Nick O'Hern v. Sean O'Hair                            O'Hern

So far:

Tiger's looking good.

Mickelson def. Weir (MC)
Cabrera def. Romero (both crap, but Romero more so)
Garcia (DQ) def. Sabbatini (cut), ha!
Mahan and Kim are tied in 44th place.
O'Hair leads O'Hern by 4, 212-216.

Several guys are looking at potential 5/5 although surprisingly few picked Tiger to win.

Regardless of the outcome, kudos to Tim Gavrich for picking Woody Austin. Very insightful.

Mahan def. Kim, 284-289
O'Hair (11) is a shot ahead of O'Hern (F), but really struggling today.

I will congratulate Andrew Mitchell for going 5/5 on the bonus questions.

Yeah Gavrich, that was inspired.  You almost pulled a whole ELK out of your hat!  What made you pick Woody?  Did he have personal knowledge of the course or soemthing?

Ryan made me a deal: he wins the PGA and I get a milkshake.

I'm hoping he'll see that a milkshkae will make me work harder..

I've always been a big Woody Austin fan.  If there's a PGA player who I am similar to in terms of style of golf game (my ball-striking is my major strength and my putting is my major weakness), personality (I am very animated on the golf course) and fashion sense (I love my Tabasco shirts dearly ;D), it's the Wood Man.

Couple the above revelations with the fact that Southern Hills is a ball-striker's golf course (there are few players on tour who are better at that than Austin), and I decided to take a flyer on the Wood Man.

I hope to see more Tabasco shirts on the golf course after today. ;)
