Hawk Lake was a decent track, although a bit squeezed in.
It was completely redesigned over the top of what had once been Yorktowne GC, circa 1940s, and was designed by James Ganley and opened about 7 years ago.
It is just indicative of the overgrowth in the number of courses in some areas, and the diminishing rounds of golf played per year.
Sadly, expect many more.
