I have a dark horse to win the PGA Championship.
His name is Ryan Benzel.
Placed 2nd at PGA Pro Championship at Sunriver.
Watch him and you could be watching a future star...

I was thinking about going for one day but it is just too hot.I would be embarrased to get on the plane home.We got lucky at the last US Open there.Not this time.Hope this doesn't ruin the greens.

Yeah, as soon as I cement a meet up time with a couple other fella who IM'd me, I'll post it.  Sam, is there any other day more convenient?  Might you go any other day? Because I won't be in and at my desk till 11 a.m. Tuesday

OK there will be two.

First, wednesday at 4PM.  Behind the eleventh green on the players right hand side.

I'll be wearing all black.  There's no way to miss me.  Black shirt, black pants or shorts, depending on the humidity.

WE'VE CHANGES THE MEET UP PLACE

Its to the left of the second green - between 2 green and three tee.

Look for the black clothes between 4 and 4:15 (I have to interview Furyk right before hand and it'll take me a minute toi get down there.

Just remember Colin Montgomerie in the 1994 US Open playoff. He wilted in the all black garb so drink lots of water. As a proponent of the all black, wear orange, it is easier to spot.

Hey Jim!  Nice to see you swingin' on this vine!

I have an orange shirt (my "Wales" shirt) for when someone asks me to wear something other than black.  yes, I'm ODing on Gatorade, water and avoiding caffeine.  I love the heat though.  I play in Arizona in July and August frequently.  I'm a wuss for the cold.  Just ask the dixie cup guys!  I looked like a black clad staypuff marshmallow man last year.

Except when I wore the hat that Bill McBride hates...my fleece ski patrol hat...
