Clyde,

And only one letter off from it being your cousin doing the advertising!

Good to see the low end of the market has now topped $100K.........

Jeff, is this for real?
If you bid $99,000.00 for the services, and was low bidder, it would be less than the 100K barrier.  Maybe I need to go back and look at the link.  Is this an indication of what the industry is going to be?

Take another look.  It appears to be an eBay classified ad rather than a bid.  I think the price is fixed.  There is also a charge of cost + 10% for expenses.  Is this mark-up the norm in the industry?

Having gone back:

This listing is a Classified Ad. There is no bidding. If you are interested in this item, you may contact the seller to request additional information.

How many people do you think view this in a day?

"How many people do you think view this in a day? "

Ron: Good question - I typed in Golf Course Design and found the listing. I was looking for books but left the category selection on "All".

Jeff: We're all related. Didn't they teach you that in Sunday School?

Tim: There is no standard in the industry about marking up expenses. My markup is zero.

I suspect there's at least one larger design firm which is considering the offer so they can sub out some of their work.

(It's an inside joke.)

If you don't have the money to do it right in the first place, do you have the money to do it over again?

125 used golf course design services.
Good Luck to Andy, with Doak, Nicklaus, Fazio, Faldo, Norman, Dye, and the like, that doesn't leave too many fish in the pond.
