Great photo's everyone. Jon, that photo of GH isn't one I've seen before, but it's a beaut.

I like the look of the lone trees on the Shinnecock photo of #7 Ted. I'm indifferent about the grove of trees on the right. Kind of reminds me of the ones seen at Carnoustie. The lone trees give a really nice , stark contrast to the landscape.

Daryl, that photo of 17 at CPC is one of the best photo's I've ever seen. Absolutely magnificent!!

Wayne, I really like the mood that the photo of the Cascades gives. It's beautiful and ominous at the same time.

Sean,

Wayne Morrison made a similar comparison (I'm assuming that's Addington... the 8th maybe?)

I'm admittedly an amateur in this realm, but I'm having fun with my newly acquired PhotShop.  I thought this would be good practice for me because I've only been using it for two days and this is a much more technical edit job than any of my blurred photos required.  Not 100% believable, but here's my interpretation...

My favourite because it was the greatest shot I've ever hit... you can see the ball on the hi-res version just above the tree line, in line with the flag.

I hit a drawn drive around the corner to there, and then had a 3 iron, above my feet, and I nailed it straight at the pin which was right against the right edge of the green. It landed dead online, 15ft short, and set up a two putt birdie.
Knowing that I might not get the chance to hit this shot again I was very very nervous, and so it will probably always remain my greatest ever golf shot (and photo!).

I posted a few shots, but I used too large a file size and they didn't look great so I deleted the post.  Here's two from Ballycastle while I resize the other shots.  I took these in 2006 during the Bushmills Malt Causeway Coast Tournament.

This is the 10th green looking back down on the links holes at Ballycastle.

Here is the approach to the 7th hole, which runs along the strand and can be seen in the above photo.

There are lots of good ones, but I haven't seen one with better composition and balance than Mike Erdmans:

Here is my shot of the hole taken in June a couple of years back.  Definitely not as nice as Mike's - which is among my favorites that have been posted.
