Moreover, designers are deliberately invoking classical landscape themes, whether through waterfalls, island greens, or overpowering vistas; while others announce their traditional sensibilities by invoking the internal tradition of golf course architecture (Redan holes, Capes, homages to Ross, Macdonald, Raynor, MacKenzie & Langford).
