What does it matter if the poor player can putt all the way from tee to green, provided that he has to zigzag so frequently that he takes six or seven putts to reach it?     --Alistair Mackenzie--

Michael, is this course still there?  If it is the one I am thinking of, it isn't there anymore.  I played it in 2000 with one of my cousins who was a regular there.  I had a great time and really enjoyed the course.  It was a lot of fun.

Thanks Michael,

The pictures really begin to expose why Pete P thinks so highly of the course.

Brock:

The old course you played was north of the Redmond airport.  This is a new 18 by John Harbottle that's just south of the airport.  I don't know the history about why they decided to move, but I know the new course is only about 4-5 years old.

Thanks Michael!

It's on my short list to play this summer when I take the family to Sunriver. If anyone is around from July 30th to August 3 it would be great to meet up for a round.

What I was told is the Redmond AP traded land with the golf course in order to expand their facilities.

AP got the old course, the region got a new, better facility
