Affordable Public Course in London?

A colleague just called.  He now has a layover in London this weekend, and he asked if I could recommend an affordable (with the pound at 2 to 1), accessible course in London.  

Any suggestions?

How about Sandy Lodge? You can easily get there by cab or subway.

Depends what you regard as affordable. I would consider The Addington as good value at $160. It is in Croydon, SE London
