We played through 2 groups on 12 and 13 so unfortunately only got some random shots of those two holes:
Here¡¦s the 12th green and green site:
A look back up the fairway reveals the major contour on 12:
My only shot of 13 green, looking back from 14 tee:
My favorite hole on the course, the reachable par 5 14th, what may not be readily apparent is the further left you hit it the shorter the second shot, however the blinder the second shot, a drive down the right side leaves a longer second requiring a heroic carry over the fescue but it is completely visible (be careful though because downwind you can hit it through the fairway down the right side into the long stuff). Much like the 6th at Engineers the player choosing maximum length off the tee sacrifices vision and the player opting for vision sacrifices length. This option is mostly in play fromt the Blue tee marker or in, from the Black or Back Black tees driving it over the ridge down the left side is not an option:
With Back Black tees at 650, Black tees are 615, blue tees at 505 and green tees at 469, 14 can play as a 3 shot hole, a reachable 5 par or a stern 4 par.
A drive down the right side of the fairway leaves this for a second shot (what you cannot see is that while the left side looks safe there is a swale from and left of the green that will make a 3rd shot pitch difficult for those who bailout left:
If you don¡¦t go for it in two you lay up to the left, however you better hit it far enough left or you face this third:
Here¡¦s the proper layup spot:
Here¡¦s the swale to the left that is not visible from the fairway so if the heroic player going for the green in two bails out left they have this to deal with:
That¡¦s my putt for Eagle, which I left short ƒ¼
