Favorite Open Courses and Set ups

I just read the post that the US Open is returning to Pinehurst #2.  I can't wait to see that but it got me thinking, what is your favorite open course and what year?  Someone mentioned that they liked #2 in '99 but not so much in '05.  What are your top 5 Open courses and setup regardless of the winner?

Myopia -- the winning score was never less than 314 (without lengthening!).

Of the current ones, I've always liked the look of Shinnecock the best -- in Open conditions, it seems to be the only major venue here that approximates the game's Scottish links roots.
