Grateful Dunes--Ballyneal's Public Companion?
«

The attached article discusses the possibility of the O'Neals building a public course near Ballyneal. I believe Tom Doak mentioned this in the past as well. Any developments or updates?

Thanks for posting Tim, I wonder if they will partner with or close the local nine-holer if they build a new public course? Condos or any amenities similar to the Prairie Club in Valentine? Or would they just look for road trippers to fill the tee times? I will be curious and hopeful for them as this develops.

Sorry, I didn't notice it. I was rather busy with work around that time.
Truth be told, though, that thread didn't say too much about the project.

Rupert O'Neal was proudly wearing a Grateful Dead baseball cap last weekend at Ballyneal. He said that he does intend to do this project, but that a starting point is not yet imminent.
I love the concept, and I love the name. Go Rupert!
