The name is just awful but the course is pretty good.

Have your played there yet?

The aerials look pretty bland.

Rode it last week with Cosgrove before we played Chambers Bay. For a public course adjoining a dense real estate development I thought the Home Course was nice, enjoyable -- a great test, no, but certainly a fair test with wonderful long views of Puget Sound and Olympic Range and also very playable in the wind.

Jeff,of interest is that it is to be able to stretch to 7450 yards.  While it is somewhat bland from above the shaping is pretty good and the putting surfaces are interesting and at the $40 price point the association probably has a winner.  Having played it several times, I think it may be as good as Olympic at Gold Mountain, presently rated best public in the state.

It also may be a strong contender for GD'd best new sub $50 category.  Pierce County ends up with Chambers as best upscale and Home Course as best low end.  Has that ever happened before?
