Green Surrounds on Hilly Terrain

Forrest has been prattling on about what has hanged/progressed in GCA these recent years.  Looking at the pix of Beau Desert and Kington got me to thinking how totally bizarre these greens must look compared to greens on very hilly sites today.

Can anybody post some pix of modern green design on very hill sites without obvious natural sites for greens?  I am betting that much more care generally goes into tying the surrounds into the green - usually using bunkers and mega fill.  Can any archies chime in with their thoughts?

Golf Architect Lemmings LOVE to take hilly sites and create punchbowl (in their terms, punchbowl) settings for their greens. The love the strategy it provides, as well as the backdrop of hillside behind it. This is why the example you show doesn't fit into the mindset of the stereotypical GCA Lemming. The varmint that he is....
