Tommy,

It is a very good design, quite underrated in my opinion.  It brings the ground game into play quite well.  The green complexes are excellent.

I'm a well-known KBM butt-boy (See me taken to task by Sweeney on teh Newport National thread) but FWIW I think Laurel Links is very underappreciated.

It is a great course for players of varied handicaps to play together - something Kelly does fairly well.

I think you could classify it as unique.

Play it and see for yourself.

I don't think you'll regret it.
