A BIG welcome to Scott Weersing!
« on: May 13, 2007, 11:02:11 AM »
Hey Everyone,

I'd like to extend the first welcome to Scott Weersing! Scott is the closest thing I have to a little brother, and I'd guess we are closer than a lot of brothers.

Scott brings a well traveled and well honed golf game. It used to be that Scott's Dad and I would beat he and his friend Chris straight up in a match - now, we humbly accept the strokes they offer!

Scott is a fantastic photographer and writer. For many years he honed his craft in the news industry.

His home course is the one pictured below. He also plays often out at Rustic, although Forrest's new course is a very close option for him.

Scott will be a great addition to the board.

Cheers, Jeff

Scott, is the taller one.

"And so," (concluded the Oldest Member), "you see that golf can be of
the greatest practical assistance to a man in Life's struggle.”

Hey, Scott, always good to have new people aboard.
Some advice I suggest to follow (strongly suggest): dont talk with Mucci for at least 6 months and just hold your head up high when you prove him wrong because he's always right.
 ;) :)

Jeff, looking forward to meeting in a couple weeks.

Cheers

This is my first posting!!

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I love learning about GCA from the great people who post here.

A few things about me: I hate mandatory carts, I can't hit a fade with an iron, I love going to Bandon Dunes in February (already booked for 2008), I own a hat from Royal New Kent (played there in November of 2006), my home course is La Purisima while I also love Rustic Canyon, and can't wait for the US Open at Oakmont.
