« on: May 10, 2007, 10:26:44 AM »
hi,

i'm looking for recommendations for the 'best in class' books in the following fields (with specific emphasis on golf courses):

1. construction / civil engineering / drainage & irrigation
2. landscaping / shaping

any advice would be most welcome...

thank you

Ally,
the Hurdzan, 'Golf Course Architecture' is good, but in my expert opinion, Graves and Cornish 'Golf Course Design' will satisfy your requirements in all departments.

(Both got me through the MSc more than comfortably, anyway!!! ;))

How are you going to use the books?

I haven't read many cover to cover, and my hands on experience has been quite valuable.

Cheers
