Clearly you forgot to notice the sarcasm in MY post.  I don't see liberals supporting civil liberties.  You don't support prayer in schools, the right to bear arms, or a unborn child's right to life, but somehow you claim to support civil liberties???? Correct me if you support any of those basic rights.  I know I'm for free speech, not just when someone is agreeing with me either.  Perhaps it was not your opinion that was being censored; maybe it was just your boorish manner.

Perhaps so. I certainly cannot answer anything so blatantly political, no matter how full of such noise as it is. But I will. I shall ignore you personal attack upon me [typical conservative debate tactic]. I support completely 'right to bear arms'; probably more than you do. I support 'prayer in schools'. I support a women's right to make decisions about her body.

I even support your right to characterize my behavior. I also demand responsibility for each and every civil liberty. That means they CANNOT be willingly sacrificed, even by a vast majority [let alone a small but powerful minority in power]. Liberties are only intact if no one can 'decide' when they are not.

Any questions?

This thread is a good example of why Global Warming will never get off the ground.  Don't invest !!!!!!!!!!!!

Even if climate change is not entirely due to human activity, aren't skeptics just a bit concerned that we should figure out what to do? I can see great disagreement about what to do and/or when. But to toss off climate change as "Don't worry, it's natural."  makes me wonder if such folks, when faced with a hurricane, would refuse to put plywood over the windows of their house because "It's natural." The fact that climate change is "natural" seems to me to be no cause for inactivity.

And what, pray tell, do we do, if solar activity explains 99% of global warming?
