Thats a nice tactic.  He's probably been plotting for days how he can get a free copy of this DVD!!!

You continue to mention what a bad idea it would be to view the DVD prior to visiting or playing.  Have you thought, for a second, that it might be of interest to those that will never get an opportunity to see or to play the course?  How is the DVD a bad thing if it can deliver access to many who have none?

Not everyone can expect to receive a mailed invitaton to play the course to arrive at our PO Box simply by complaining about it.

Although I found the DVD a nice historical document, I was disappointed the golf course wasn't featured more.  Much more.  I admire Tom and Jack greatly, but the golf course is still the star.

Not many clubs get Jim Nantz to moderate the proceedings.

Damn!  You must be thinking they'll give anybody a copy of this DVD.

What's next...Glueing an copy to an add in the Robb Report.  I really don't understand why a course that was supposed to be by invitation only would lend itself to such gimmicktry.  Is all this based on marketing or egoism.  It clearly separates the club from its neighbors.

I agree...the Robb report is the second biggest joke in golf...the biggest being the Zagat's/ESPN "book."
