« on: March 23, 2007, 02:03:02 AM »
I will be in Augusta Masters weekend. Anybody else around for catching up and enjoying a bit of the best golf has to offer.

Scott Szabo will be there. It's his first visit and he has a page 1 thread on what to do. Maybe you can help. :)

I will be there with my son on Wed and Thursday, glad to meet up.
Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta

Thanks for posting for me Peter  ;D

I will be there for Tuesday's round only, unfortunately, but am looking forward to it.

I will be there Wednesday thru Saturday and welcome the chance to meet somewhere.  I'll be with Tom Paul along with Bob Crosby and Mike Young for some of the days.  Somebody should pick a time and place for a GCA.com meet and greet.

I've never been to ANGC, is there a good place and time where we can meet, perhaps with pairings in mind?

Can Ran make up GCA.com nametags for everyone and have them be at the gatehouse for pickup?  ;)

A great meeting place is by the old oak tree by the 1st tee.   If you're there early enough, the practice area to the right of Magnolia Lane (over by the Par 3 course) is good because it's usually not too crowded.

There's also a water fountain over by #7 green/#17 tee that's a good landmark.

On the back 9, there's always the water fountain behind #16 tee or the stairs heading up toward the "back" entrance.

Damn - I wish I was going!

Anyone have an "Off" day on Thursday let me know and we could always get out for a round at my club Musgrove Mill about 2hrs from Augusta which might be a little drawback for some, but I wanted to throw out the offer.

Anyway I just got back from my one day down there for this year.  The weather was great, the course looked great (as always).  And all in all it was another tremendous day to spend at ANGC.

Good luck to all going later in the week, as always I am jealous.

I'm here with my son Jeffrey. Probably will be following Tiger around 9am tomorrow if he's not finished already

I'm a late add for Sunday ;D -- should be there open to close if anyone's meeting up.
