Walker Cup

The Tickets went on General sale Yestereday and I was told will sell out quickly.

They are £25 and £10 for children.

Tickets for the R+A tent and Coctial party are only for RCD, R+A and USGA Members.

Who is coming?

Only Hilights in the UK I think!

Matthew, my wife and I and another couple are still planning to be there. Ward Peyronnin is also going, not sure who else. We will also have a contingent from Pensacola Country Club, led by former captain Downing Gray of our club.

In the US, the Golf Channel had 2 hours coverage Sat & Sun in 2005.

Bill,

The Walker Cup is on at the same time as our Buda Cup isn't it?

If so I won't be able to make it. I will however make it over to Ireland in either May or August.

Do you know what dates RCD won't be available for play for visitors due to the Walker Cup?

I'd love to do both but it's not in the cards.....

The R&A's Fiona Gordon says tickets won't be available for mail order (email order) until May.

RCD will be available for play the next day (Monday) - they are taking bookings now.
