Lurking groupies - a website problem
« on: June 06, 2008, 01:25:46 PM »
I split this off from the Pizza man thread due to the importance of this growing problem!

As an "older" newbie, thats my first read of that and man thats good stuff.

I'm wondering if anyone ever followed up on the groupies??  GCA.com has been around for years and years now.  There has got to be some hot chicks somewhere just dying to meet some of the regulars.   ;)  ;D

Kalen,
So wait, you're saying that as a GCA.com-er you're NOT getting constantly hit on by groupies?  Hmm, you may be the only one.  I find it annoying to be bothered on an almost daily basis by these lurkers.  In fact just the other day Tiffany here freaked out when her friends told her who I was.  "Oh Mr. Wagner, can I have your autograph?" was bad enough but then she launched into a whole anti-committee governance rant and wanted my thoughts on benevolent dictators.  Arrgghhh!  Tiffany, I'm trying to play golf here and you're standing in my line!

Now she wants a job at my home club and she says she doesn't mind starting as a looper.  I can't win.

I've notified Ran of this built-in GCA.com problem that if left unchecked will destroy the website.

How about the  "Mae West" hole... ;D

Dan,
Ditto 'maintenance meld' comments.

Tiffany was also explaining her 'modified claw' putting grip as I walked away in disgust.

Ran,
Something must be done.

I agree.

This constant hounding by GCA Groupies has gotten completely out of control.   They're worse than the damn paparazzi!

Peter,

Glad to hear the news, at least one of us is having "Mae West" issues.

Out here in Utah, while golf isn't exactly on the forefront, there are lots of high quality courses for dirt cheap green fees.  Have I mentioned that before in here?   ;D Just the other day Tony Chapman was in town and we played South Mountain.  He was amazed at what he got for his $30.

When I was in CA for KP, I think I may have had a sighting because I mentioned Desmond Muirhead and 4 hotties stopped in thier tracks and looked in my direction.

I find it hard to believe that patch of woods at the top/right of the picture is the only part that was photoshopped.

You could build a whole medical conference around this speciman, to determine the effects of stroke average, while walking and carrying excess baggage by using slung over the shoulder holders.
No actual golf rounds were ruined or delayed, nor golf rules broken, in the taking of any photographs that may be displayed by the above forum user.

Kyle,
You haven't spent enough quality time in Los Angeles.

If I spent it in L.A., it probably wouldn't be of  very good "quality."

Unless it was in spent on a venerable track in the company of my fellow GCAers, of course.

I predict that Mr. Wagner will rue the day he revealed (as identified for the pervs here) himself on this website.

Regarding Ms. Tiffany, her ankles are way too thin, though her posture is not bad.

Gross, although those are roughly the same size as Laura Davies mamories.......

I can understand why that young gal has a "modified claw" grip on that putter. Anything else and she would invariably fall on her face. Belay that---on second thought and on a more careful analysis I see no way at all her face could ever hit the ground!
