« on: February 04, 2007, 01:02:35 PM »
A major League term if there ever was one!

In a few weeks all that are going to be in SoCal/Anaheim for the Industry Show are getting together for dinner. If your interested in joining, IM me and it will help finalize the details of where and what time it is happening.

Tommy,
What day are you talking about for dinner?

Thursday night will also work for me. I won't mind missing a few landscape architecture studios in the mean time.

What architecture oriented seminars is the gang attending during the show?

Tommy,

Thursday night dinner sounds fine by me. By the way, Superintendent of the Year announcement is to be made Friday 2:30 p.m. at ClubCar booth on the GIS floor. It should be an interesting presentation. All are welcome.

Tommy,

Now ya done it....you better find a room to hold 100 or more....when the list of celebrities gets out, everyone who is someone will have to be there! I mean the lineup already is stellar!!!!

Great point!

I will be assisting Emmy and her taping of the Event for her Bay Area Cable show. The Super of the Year will make a great segment! Also to add that we'll be taping Brad's book signing of Rough Meditations later that day.

Do note that these book signings can be pretty fun, as I've been reminded countless times after making the mistake of missing Brad & Geoff's books signing ten years ago when the show was last in Anaheim, and my one chance of meeting Rees Jones in person! (who was hanging around)

Oh well, hopefully this year!

Nine years ago! Yikes, I am getting gray. And I'm still hawking the same book -- though in cheaper paperback.

I think my mind is getting to me. (old age) Thinking back now, it may only be 9 years (last in Anaheim in 1998)(or was it 1999?) ::)

Tommy,

It was 1998, I was there.

Count me in, as long as the boss is OK for me to break away.

this time, in honor of Borat, she's crashing my book signing.

The ironic thing is that "Pemela" Anderson scene from Borat was filmed at the Block At Orange, literally a mile or less away from the convention center!
