New Orleans Golf suggestions

My group is going to New Orleans in March for the NCAA hoops and we'll be looking to play golf while we are there. I've never been to N.O. are there any "must plays"?

There are no must plays, but there are some must eats, must drinks and must listen too jazz. the better plays are Metairie CC(Rayner restoration), New Orleans CC, (Bobby Weed redo), English Turn, (Jack and just ok), TPC(Dye ok, Money Hill (Ron Garl pretty good). There ar eothers but this will get you thinking.

Anybody know the current status of the courses in City Park?  They are fun to play and were accessible last time I played there - maybe 2000.

Bill, jury is out on the restoration of those grand courses. I hear one good and two bad things every few weeks.

You have to love a city government that is charging $750 for a $150 tree and a $25 sign. Actually I think City Park is under the LT Governors office. lol
