I have Xmas Carols on the stereo, lights and candles lit, a scrumptious meal simmering and a Xmas toddy in my hand.  I feel just like Saint Tom Paul.   :D

This 54 year-old, cursed with an aging body and a spiraling handicap, but after 40 years no less gaga over golf, still feels riduculously lucky and counts each day as too good to be true, and wishes each of his many gca and golfing friends around the world beyond the best of holidays.

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to all.

It was grand to meet some of you this year and I can only hope to participate in more GCA.com events this coming year.

Thanks for the education, the laughs and the friendship.

If a player insists on playing his maximum power on his tee-shot, it is not the architect's intention to allow him an overly wide target to hit to but rather should be allowed this privilege of maximum power except under conditions of exceptional skill.
