Phil:

I guess this just proves what I've said all along about some of the things Tom MacWood says on here about golf courses he's never seen, and worse yet, how he criticizes the explanations of others who really know those courses well  despite the fact he has never even seen them. One really can't do that with any credibility at all. It's basically impossible. Tom MacWood can't, nor can anyone else.

So then what? Does he think if he tries to create a big enough flap the courses he's criticizing or the people who know the courses well whose explanations he's criticizing as speculation upon speculation then must arrange for him to go see the course and totally familiarize himself with them?

He should've done all that before launching into any detailed criticism at all. As usual Tom MacWood seems to have things fairly ass-backwards.
