Matthew,
    Why Moygara?

For me a links course that is fun and interesting, and all the other parameters don't matter.

Interesting. I work in medicine, and moygara sounds like a disorder of some sort. It all depends on perspective I suppose. :)

I thought it sounded more like the prescription remedy for some disorder!

Paul,

If your par 5s average 500 yards and par 3s average 170 yards then your 4s will average 350 yards.

I'd hate to see the countours in your greens that would make it the "world's toughest"

There's really no debating this one.  If Sand Hills was on the ocean, it would never, ever lose its position on top of all lists.  As it is, it should be on top anyway.  Better than Pebble.  Better than Cypress.  Better than Augusta National.  Out of this world good.

Terry - amen, brother.  And I just saw your Best 18 list which is very, very good... off to post mine.. we have a few in common.

Matthew - Sand Hills is private, and I don't know what the green fees are... other than to say one can't put a price tag on golf heaven.

Chris,

I know ;D

And I dont think I'd stop with just the greens ;)

Many might not like it but it's my dream course.

Bytheway

Tom is right, SH trumps all in my book. I got a chance to go last year. Green fees were not that bad ($150 or something for all day), but access is the question.

Mine is one that doesn't use flagsticks for part of the year. I am not even sure that I could draw the club back on the 11th, based on the way I felt walking it.
