Jordan,
You would be this cool if it weren't for the short skirt issue.  :)
I hope to be in your paper one day, as I hope you are in the journal one day yourself.

I did try to have them use one of my pictures of the car on site - my black one doesn't look so dirty from certain angles.
I don't know what the cargo can hold more of:  Mosquitos or new Golf Club Atlas golf bags.
Alas, they went with one of their own.

Thanks for my indulgance (this was fun) and the kind words.

The ad looks much bigger in print.

Cheers

RJ,

Fear not.  Joe's was one of the very first that popped into my mind.  Along with yours, Shiv's, Wigler's, Huckaby's, Mucci's, Arble's, Cenci's, Cronan's, Getka's, Thomas', and the list just goes on and on.  Each with their own very unique and well suited endorsement. ;D ;D

Cheers!

JT

Mike - Congrats.  Very cool!

Jim,

You are probably too young but the best one of these I ever saw was a lampoon done by Playboy (I think - it may have been Penthouse or Hustler) of the old Campari adds where people talk about their first time (With the double entendre being that they were actually talking about their first time drinking Campari).

The lampoon was Jerry Falwell talking about his first time.  I had it up in my college dorm room.  It may still be the funniest thing I have read and I hope I run across it again one of these days.
And I took full blame then, and retain such now.  My utter ignorance in not trumpeting a course I have never seen remains inexcusable.

I like the line that states "he often spends months walking a property..."

I don't have enough time to do things that take months, to do it often.

Congrats,

Joe

Congrats Mike...very cool.

On another thread note.  God Bless those cheerleaders at Jordan's school.  It's so refreshing to hear these fine young women standing up for their inherent American right to wear their outfits as short and tight as they wish.  Bravo! ;)

Sully,

Does it seem like we miss High School? ;D

For Sully, Jamie, and anybody, the cheerleader story ... btw 4 at a time would work Sully ...
 :-*

So, we have an English assignment and we have to write a short letter/essay about something we feel is wrong in our school.
Its a college class so, it has to be good.
I dont really think to care about our schools problems as long as my grades are fine, so I pick a topic of clothes.
The teacher is big on wearing proper clothes so I chose to write on that to get a good grade. (honestly you may call that sucking up)
So, I write on how clothes are too skimpy, and cheerleaders are a bad example and we dont want to see girls boobs hang out of their shirts and so on...
I pick up a school paper two days ago, and what do you know, my letter is in the paper.
I know all the cheerleaders very well, two of us are pretty close (just friends).  They were PISSED
Of course all the guys from the football team and that were the cheerleaders boyfriends were cracking up, as was I.
But, I think every girl in the school hates me now.
Its dumb ... all the cheer squad came and sat next to me at lunch, and kept asking how I liked their skirts.
Of course, the guys were 'getting their luch' during this (they helped plan it)
So, I am getting BS all lunch from the cheer.  They keep asking if their shirts are tight enough, if their skirts should be shorter, etc.
The funny thing is, I really dont care about that stuff.
I BS'ed the paper/letter to get an 'A', which I did, at 133% (40 points out of 30 possible points, an extra 10 for getting it in the paper), and now I am getting BS all over.
I get to complain a little bit because it cracks me up.
Its a good thing my g/f doesnt go to my school!

Jordan,

That is a funny story.  What cracks me up is that your teacher would actually believe a story from a high school boy who states that he would like to see the cheerleaders more covered up. ??? You must be a Pius one young Jordan.  Be careful, with any more of those morally pure papers, your school will have you first in line at the Seminary booth on career day.  Either that, or you'll be the youngest Republican Senator from the state of Wash. ;)

Keep up the good work with your grades.  It seems as if the cheer squad has been duped by "reverse Psychology"... Brilliant.

I tried to get them to run it the week of the masters.
It is back in Today's journal.

If only Jordan were still here, he could tell another story too.

Cheers

I have been in contact with young Jordan and he is doing quite well without us.  I know that he has at least 2 low medalist's this spring for his high school team.  I am sure that due to not being here, his grades are up, and he is getting way more love from the girls as well...
