What about the 2-or-20 hole in semi-rotation at Engineers (corrected) and the 90-yarder at the resort in the Poconos?

I have played neither, so we will have to rely on others for expert analysis...

#12 at The Country Club is pretty decent at 125-130, a very small green with falloffs on all sides...this hole is removed for the Composite course...

Would you allow a squeeze at 132 yards for #17 at Sawgrass?

Sorry Paul

2 yards too long!

Otherwise I would have added Cypress #15 at 135 yards too...

Have to draw the line somewhere!!  ;)

Evan,

For courses I've played the first that comes to mind is the 15th at Spyglass (That tree on the left kills me!).

Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta

#9 at Caledonia; though it feels out of place in the routing and somewhat shoehorned, it is a great hole nonetheless.

I first thought of the Bad Baby at Jasper Park, but upon closer inspection it's 8 yards too long. A couple of definite contenders: the sixth at Royal Ashdown Forest, with its proto-island green, and the seventh at Royal Porthcawl, which can be savage in a crosswind and is ringed by some particularly nasty pot bunkers.
