...I'm curious if there is any news on who is building courses for the Grand Mayan Properties in cancun.  Anyone know anything?

Do you mean the existing executive course at the Grand Mayan Resort on the Riviera Maya that was designed by Nicklaus Design?  Or is there a new one you're thinking of?

For the existing one, here's a URL to Nicklaus Design

I ask because one of the lawyers in my floor has a relative investing in "the courses" (that's all I know) and I was curious what was built and by whom.  Are any more under way?

I believe that Nicklaus Design is doing them.  I recall seeing two or three courses with "Mayan" in the name when I perused their list of in-progress courses on the website.

Tim,

There are a number of Mayan resorts in Mexico.  The ones Nicklaus Design have on their web site are at Puerto Penasco up at the end of the Gulf of California not near Cancun.  The existing course they did there looks interesting on the web site.
