Anything that furthers promotion on a commercial level should be discouraged....and having links to architect's websites is promotional.

This group is very resourceful. I would imagine most folks have learned how to use the "bookmark" function on their internet browsers.

It might help to reduce the redundancy of newbie questions(what good books...etc.), but then again it's nice to read the questions that the uninitiated can only ask.....almost like going back to one's childhood.

I'm fine without anything else. It makes me have to invest MY time and effort if I truly want to learn more.

For any sidebar:
A small collection of pictures detailing (say) 4 examples of a Biarritz, 4 Redans, Capes, etc.  If you're looking to educate people, that would certainly be useful.  (If there's a bandwidth/cost issue, then links to some other such URLs would be great.)

A permanent link for "How to post a picture" would be another handy addition!
