Wait...hold on a sec.  Are you thinking of Indian Valley up in Long Grove?

Ahh! Death Valley!!!  Hard Hat golf at it's finest.  Thankfully that place is now McMansions.
Coasting is a downhill process

Jacobsen did a pretty nice job at Sportsman's.  Unfortunately it's a funeral march out there on weekends...

That is not the Indian Lakes that I played.  Is there another course there...because it must have been the other course that I played....and it may have been the worse course I've ever set foot on.

I played the old Indian Lakes for free thanks to a couple of buddies once, and it wasn't worth the money I didn't pay. Bad course, no imagination and 30 mph winds. Only the company was good. The pix show me Jacobson did some heavy lifting to do what he did. Looks like a new golf course.
