looking for any info on this place?  i know it is currently closed and being remodeled, and also that it is either a municiple or even state owned facility.  who originally designed it and when, and also who is re-doing it.  also any comments on the course before it was shut down for re-model.  thanks in advance.

The original course was designed by Alex Findlay in 1921 and was good fun to play, with a handful of superb holes on the back.   Maintenance and overall length was an issue, as at most municipal tracks.

Driving by, it looks like it's being completely re-done.   I'm not sure who is doing the rework, but I'm wondering if it might be Lester George?

 I am glad to see he will be sort of keeping the old #12 . That was a wonderful hole.
