Interesting article by GolferDave at cybergolf.com. Has anyone ever played there? Where does it stand in relation to MacKenzie's other works?

I have a friend from Argentina who is very fond of this course. I'm pretty sure Tom Doak and Fred Muller have played there.

I've played it, but it would only rate a 4 or 5 on the Doak scale.

Nice parkland setting in the city of Montevideo, but separated from the water by a busy highway.  Modestly hilly, maybe 50-60 feet of elevation change.  But, the disappointment was that they had rebuilt all of their greens about 10-12 years ago, and whatever interesting contours they once contained had been mostly removed.
