Pebble Pines was one of many, so Panhandle Bill got part of it right. There was talk about calling it Treasure Island for the obvious reasons. (Robert Louis Stevenson supposedly found great inspiration for Treasure Island from walking around the woods and dunes there. Hence the name Spyglass Hill)

Don't say a word to him but in spoofing me, I think Tommy just called a Fazio course great - one for Shivas's thread last week methinks ;D

Dear Threadjacker Hendren,

As a long term and loyal Bears fan, all I can say is "Ouch."

 ??? :'(

I wonder what Tedford said to the team at halftime as they trailed 14-0.  Tennessee proceeded to hit three long TDs in the third quarter and put away the rout.

"Overrated" is generous, thanks.  :P

By the way, and very OT, I was shocked to hear they brought in a spread expert to run the offense.  Has the "spread offense" won anything since Mouse Davis was born?

Tony,
Trelawny was the only character with a course name.

I now revise my guess to North Berwick. That be Fidra Island, matey. A little yahooing found twere RLS's inspiration for Treasure Island.
