I do have some pictures of Golf's Most Beloved Jihadist and Tom on a few greens.. But Ran threatened to throw me off the site if I publish them.  I do think both would allow the pre match photo to be made public and I'll get them on soon but I'm heading for Kiawah in 14 hours so maybe not til next week!  ;D

Have fun at the cocktail party tonight and tell Jack that we enjoyed having him in Louisville for the day today.

Noel, you should strongly consider giving up your day job so you can continue to write non-fiction or is it fiction? :)

Noel:

Enjoyed reading your review this evening.

Today's golf game was a little bit bigger production!  I am still kind of in a daze over the whole thing, playing 18 holes with Jack Nicklaus and Michael Pascucci, announced by Jim Nantz, TV cameras recording every shot, etc. etc.  Yikes.

And I played well with all of that going on.  As bad as I drove it on Tuesday, that's how well I drove it on Thursday in front of the gallery.

Of course Jack had an off day and wasn't trying to beat me, and I played pretty well for me ... but I think I beat the over/under number, whatever it was.  And it was a great experience.

TV cameras???

Will it be on CBS?

Is there going to be a DVD released?

Mr. Pascucci owns a television station on Long Island, channel 55, so he has the crew to do the work.  I don't think you'll ever see it on TV, but nothing would surprise me after today.  Michael does know how to put on a show.

Ted Sturges will attest, beating Ran is one of the great things to do in life.

Nothing pleases one more.

Tommy,

How correct you are.

Despite it becoming so commonplace, the thrill, the sheer exhilaration, still remains.

The shrill whine when more shots are begged for is music to one's ears.

As to competition, if you give an athletic chimp enough shots you can have an interesting match and probably the same conversation. ;D

I anxiously await our next battle

Tom Doak,

The tape would be interesting to watch.

I'm sure the golf course is showcased.

I'd be interested to see how the tape compares to the golfer's eye as he plays the golf course.

If Ran beat Tom, shouldn't he have gotten to play Jack???
Thinking of Bob, Rihc, Bill, George, Neil, Dr. Childs, & Tiger.

Considering the NAFers frequent and awesome golf travels I've seen regularly chronicled here, I've often wondered if he has a day job.  :o ;).

Cheers,
Brad

Can we ask for a limited tape (or DVD) release (for GCA.com members only)? That, along with the upcoming book would be a great thing to have for many Sebonack fans...

I'm sure it wasn't Ran's fault.

Noel:

Why'd you bump THIS thread?  Is it the last match Ran won?
