Golf Digest Top 100 goes modern?
« on: August 23, 2006, 11:21:06 AM »
Don't know if this has been mentioned already. By my count Golf Digest Top 100 [USA] has 14 Fazio and 9 Dye. Modern courses are finally beginning to get some recognition, though of course the Top Ten has no course later than 1933.

All things must pass, and reality will slowly intrude even there!

Sorry Tom Doak, got edged out by John K's home course. [Yes, I know he didn't build it, he is just the only person I know there :).

Alas, my poor Kentucky courses aren't even close.

Doug,

Don't feel sorry for Doak as 22nd in the country on a comprehensive list is lofty status...He should be proud.
