While googling for "Caven Point Beach" (part of Liberty State Park in Jersey City), I stumbled upon cool aerials of said beach, along with an unintended result - aerial shots of LN from June 2005. Go to the link provided below and click on the pics on the right - try to get them to fill your screen for a better effect. The top pic shows LN in the context of the Jersey City and Manhattan skylines and all of Liberty State Park (on the right). A nice, panoramic shot.
The middle pic is just a closeup. The grassy/marshy peninsula in the center is a natural area which belongs to Liberty State Park - the original developers unsuccessfully tried to put two holes there by leasing the land in perpetuity from the State.
The short par 3 in the front left-center of the pic is #14, a nice little hole of 149 yards from the back tee. The NY Harbor is in play to the right of it, OB behind the green, and the hole plays downwind most of the time. They did cram too many tees into a little hole like that, though....
