A true major championship test
« on: August 07, 2006, 05:11:41 PM »
Interesting Quote:

"A true major championship test should examine how well a player handles bad luck. Bad luck is a part of life, and how you react to the bad bounces is a measure of your character and whether you are a true champion."

Agree or disagree?

Does your view change if you see who said it?

For some reason, I need to cut and paste the address to get the correct story

Is 30mph winds bad luck? Are rock hard fairways bad luck?

I mean, isn't there a quote floating around out there that says the only true championship test should come from the weather?

Personally, I think a champion has to overcome many thing....the course, the weather, the "out of his mind hot" one day challenger, four days of good and bad bounces...etc.etc.  "Bad luck" is just one portion of a championship test.
No one is above the law. LOCK HIM UP!!!
