A group of 8 will be teeing up at Erin Hills on Sunday.
We will be playing the 7000 yard tees.
I'll report back next week on course.
Thanks,
JD

I am playing Friday morning at one of my Dad's courses, Tiger's Eye in Ocean Isle, NC.  Can't wait, I haven't played a round with my Dad in nearly a year and my daughter is going to ride the back with us for the first time.  Tiger's Eye is a fun course, it is wide open with subtle yet interesting greens, definitely one of the best around Myrtle Beach.

This weekend we're playing at Prince Edward Island
Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta

It's not as bad as it sounds... :)

Pumpkin Ridge - Ghost Creek both days.  Same as last weekend.  John VanderBorght will be joining us Saturday, and heading home to Pennsylvania on Sunday.

Overrated?  OK maybe, but fun nevertheless, and a very pleasant walk.

Saturday is practice day with a few holes at sunset with my two boys.

Playing Rolling Green on Sunday morning.  First time back at the course in about 10 months...looking forward to playing with my host and seeing the course again.  Sunday afternoon I am playing with my 15 year old son, David, in a father-junior tournament at my club on a gem of a 5989 yard course.  I guess we'll play from the tippy tips at 6000 yards  ;)

Over the next few days...

A little "full-contact" golf on a terrific Par 3 course followed by 36 holes at a nearby little charming and classic Tilly (w/a GCA homie).

James,

Yep.  Although not 100% I can play mostly pain free most of the time.  First time playing 36 in a day so we'll see how it goes.  Playing with my son should be a great motivator.

Get on Skype so that I can send you the photos when you borrowed my camera.  It'll only take a short while for you to download them on that ftp.  IM me and I'll let you know my Skype ID.

Best,
WSM

Talking with Tommy N and Ran about hosting a GCA event down here mid year 2007. Look forward to meeting some of the group.

Great idea on that GCA event down there, count me in. I have been looking for an excuse to get down there  to Cabo for the last ten years, but every year the green fees go up and I wind up somewhere else. Hope it gets done. The Frijole Cup?

Brian,
Are you going to get in a practice of the next college football national champion Fightin Irish while you're there. I'd like to know how the next Heisman winner Brady Quinn looks.

Tim,

Looking at June 07 and regarding the pricing I'll try to use my connections to keep the fee in line  ;)

Copa de Bauchery perhaps?

Think we could get Sammy Hagar to sponsor it, the Cabo Wabo Cup?

No interest in sponsorship but a visit to Cabo Wabo and "surrounds" could well be in order.

Wayne,

Just watch yourself on that second tee, right!  Those wasps/things are big enough to pick you up and carry you away!
