Philip - much obliged and appreciated, all of it.  And well... many here know I didn't gain the moniker of "America's Guest" by accident, so transporting that overseas would cause little embarassment.  But still, I appreciate it.

And man, I completely spaced out on the incredible history at Hoylake.  Good lord, that is sad on my part.  I absolutely live for that stuff - man I was nearly in tears when I saw the Claret Jug in the R&A clubhouse, for example - so my questions re Hoylake are getting sillier by the second.  That ought to be enough - and I was dumb to forget it.

Thanks for setting me straight.

Now to the main point of woe....

GOD DAMMIT WHY CAN'T I GET OVER THERE FOR THE BUDA CUP???

It will be all I love in golf and life all wrapped up together.  But alas and alack, I just can't do that to the ever-patient Mrs. Huckaby... as many know we'll have a newborn at that point, to go along with two far from newborns who are a handful in their own right.

But enough of my issues.  Thanks again for the low-down on Hoylake.
