If you don't shave, do you play better lniks golf?

I was just wondering since so many of the Tour pros at Hoylake apparently must think so. Was that Woods' problem yesterday? If the Tiger comes out on Sunday smooth shaven it looks like you better consider shifting your bets, as I doubt he'll have a chance against the rest of the stubble.

Tom,

What did you have a few glasses of wine tonight?  :)

TEP,

Not only that but it's recommended to oversleep, toss on the first available clothes (usually yesterday's) and run to the course with clubs in tow.  These are the best guarantees of a good links round I know.

TEPaul,

It depends on what (or who?) you are shaving.

Thanks for the answers guys. All of you are a bunch of gross, cynical and smelly pigs.

However, if one of the unshaven wins this thing I think golf and particularly the golf pyschologists are definitely going to have to go back to their computers and recalculate their professional advice.

One complaint has been the lack of hot water.
