I'll also occasionally put up this one of the 18th at John's Island West, another one of my favorites, even if Fazio gets no love on GCA:

You know, I'm looking at a lot of these images here and I'm thinking , Condo Opportunity..... (Not St. John's Island West, I would rather have a colonoscopy)

That's what missing from these places, condos on both sides, and maybe a Taco Bell or Jack In The Box and a Starbucks...

As Shivas would say on his Family Feud thread, Give me condos!" Ding-ding-ding-ding-ding!!!!

We have a winner!

Randy, Condos everywhere. EVERYWHERE!  I want them littering the sides of ever golf hole from Botswana to Katmandu. From La Habra to Sleepy Hollow.

Give me condos!

And waterfalls too!

My desktop picture is sort of a cliche because it's my dad and I standing on the 16th tee of a very famous course, but hey it brings back great memories every time I look at it so why not?

Which computer?

At home is a photo of my lounging Vizsla Beamer ...

At work is a Four-Ass photo of a group of GCAers walking down the 1st Fairway at Tobacco Road during last years Dixie Cup ...

Later this afternoon, a new photo will be replacing that one, stay tuned for details ...

I have an inkling what Mr. Benham's new photo will be.  All I can say is the camera adds 25 pounds.

Interesting, mine on my work computer is the same one Geoffrey Childs has on his come computer:  #1 Sand Hills, as captured by Paul Turner.  People ask me all the time:  is that Ireland?

For your viewing pleasure...

Must be the only mac computer guy on here.
I currently have 46 shots of great courses/holes that I have visited. They play in the background and as the screen saver.

Thank you Tom-  I can't help but smile when I see that photo. What a place!

PS- after reading that 25 lb. comment I was sure you were going to say your photo was a puffy TomH leaning against a rail on 15 at Cypress Point with a HUGE grin on your face.

Tom,

When we were going through our grand opening phase we got a ton of local press at Angels Crossing, including local television coverage.  Anyway, one day I drew the short straw and went out to do the shpeel for the one of the local stations.  That night my wife and I were watching the news and I reminded her, "You know the camera adds a good ten pounds."  Her response, "Just how many cameras did they have on you?"

Cheers!

The 10th hole from behind the green back up the through the green of the greatest links IMHO.  MACHRINHANISH!!!  I do not know how the post pictures yet, sorry.

I also use about a hundred golf course pictures off the net for a screen saver.

I've taken a bunch of photos at Bandon over the years, many where the camera lense has rain on it.  Have seen a lot of different weather conditions and luckily some photos have turned out fair to good, the one that stands out most is one of Sheep Ranch.  It adorns my desktop.

From top of hill looking out over the green which sits on the point, huge scale of the green, flag blowing in the breeze, nice waves, good sky etc.

Many of the shots guys have posted on this thread are awesome too.  I would lean towards the Sand Hills shot as my favorite of them.
